SUMMIT COUNTY – Seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong has entered the Aug. 9 Leadville Trail 100 mountain-bike race, according to race promoter Ken Chlouber.
Armstrong, also know as Mellow Johnny hasn’t raced professionally since retiring after winning his record Tour de France in 2005.
Last year, 2006 Tour de France champion Floyd Landis who since has had his title stripped and been banned from racing for a positive doping test competed in the Leadville 100 and finished second.
Armstrong initially had planned to ride in that race, too, but withdrew because of a scheduling conflict.

I watched this once before and there are a lot of folks that start the race that have no idea how hard it is to ride 100 miles at 10k plus feet.

Education: All make valid points but none of this has anything to do with a congressional debate. Polis makes the most valid point that the wealthier the district, the better the education.
Iraq War: Tie between all three, but Polis stated the case better.
First thing to be done in office: Fitz-Gerald wins. Polis does well on the follow up.
Fave TV show: Polis and Shathroth win.
Plastic bags: Tie.

The BBC has a fun but hard test of Bond Movie Theme Songs, and it is not as easy as I thought it was going to be, scoring a wapping 6 out of 10.

I am caught between pure revulsion and morbid fascination. This could be the Plan Nine from Outer Space of the aughts.

Personally, I think it would be fitting that when this hits the Discount Bin to have a Margie-gras and watch this and come up with some sort of rules for it to get drunk by.

My Dad and Stepmom got a new puppy Saturday. She, Luna, is an English Lab Chocolate versus the American Labs that the have had in the past. She is very easy going and calm, which is a good thing for them right now….last thing they need is a typical Spazz Lab. Also nice is that she has dark eyes instead of the typical freaky yellow eyes that Chocolate Labs have.
